Gojūon (Seion) 
What is Seion?
Syllables in Japanese that do not have either a turbid point or a semi- turbid point, except for syllabic nasal and consonant sounds.
A list of basic syllables in Japanese. Gojūon means 50 sounds.
Modern Japanese kana and phonemes are not literally 50 in number. There are letters and phonemes that are missing or duplicated on the table.

- ゐ and ゑ in wa-row is obsolete in modern Japanese.
Voiced consonants(Dakuon) and semi-voiced consonants(Han-dakuon)
The ga,za,da,ba-row is voiced consonant. Dakuon has a sonant mark ゛.
And pa-row is semi-voiced consonants. Han-dakuon has a P-sound consonant mark ゜.
In modern Japanese, "じ" and "ぢ" are pronounced the same. And "ず" and "づ" are the same,too.

Contracted sounds (Yoōn)
